Company research

We follow a proprietary methodology to independently assess a company's ability to deliver on its service promise and its focus on a specific service area. The outcome is the Leaders Matrix, a graphical representation of the top services firms in a given market.

The leaders matrix has two key dimensions, Ability to Deliver and Focus. The Ability to Deliver dimension is comprised of three different evaluation criteria. Each provider is scored from 1 to 10 on each criteria and the values are combined to give the overall Ability to Deliver Score.

The Focus dimension is comprised of one or two levels of self reported criteria. Providers submit quantitative data on their areas of focus, essentially the percentage of the work they do in key areas. Firms are then plotted along the X axis based on their level of focus.

Service provider certification

Service providers looking to stand out from the compentition can apply for inclusion in our company research. Companies that make it into a Leaders Matrix are eligilble to publish a badge on their website and marketing material.

Directories

Our goal is to provide a focused set of directories that list the leading service providers in a specific sector. Providers are ranked based on the following criteria:

1. Profile completeness - Providers must submit a consistent set of data to support a detailed evaluation.
2. Relevant focus - Focus is a key determinate in any firm, large or small, providing quality services. The greater the focus, the higher the rank.
3. References & feedback - Past client satisfaction is a key indicator of future success. The more and the better the feedback, the higher the rank.

Proposal service

Companies and entrepreneurs interested in hiring a services firm can post a project description or request for proposal (RFP) and get multiple quotes. The process works as follows:

1. Buyer provides basic information on the project requirements
   1. Describe overall project
   2. Upload any relevant request for proposal (RFP) documents such as scope of work, specifications, and/or contractual requirements
   3. Document any preferences on providers that should respond e.g. location, size, skills, etc.
2. Dot NET Developers.org develops a shortlist of providers

   2. Call buyer to validate key requirements and preferences
